That's the page. I saw it and suggested to Chris that we make it Misty
retroactively.

Not sure why there are those "flying bathtub" references, since Johnny is
clearly not in that version of the Fantasticar!

Hero gets to kiss the girl in the end!  Pretty neat!

Great story! Like I said last week, this two-parter is my favorite story from the JB/Claremont run on Marvel Team-Up.

The Steel Serpent was a great villain as sort of the flip side of Iron Fist. His failures remind us of just what makes Iron Fist special. Being a hero is more than about just having power - it's about having the character to use that power wisely.

By the way, I love the nod to MTU #1, which is a warm 'n' fuzzy little Christmas story featuring Spidey, the Human Torch and the Sandman.

Misty's into avant garde decoration, obviously. Her idea of a baththub is grander than that of the common man's.

Excellent. Both the issue and the ref.

I always liked Iron Fist. That's were i first met the Byrne/Claremont team (for me it was the Captain America issue), In France those 2 issues of MTU were published in Titans, as if they were parts of the actual Iron Fist series. Actually for the french editor Lug, that's with those that the Iron Fist series ended, Power-man & Iron fist being published by Aredit/Artimat that was already publishing Power-Man.

I liked a lot the inks of Dave Hunt on those issues.

I like the little touch in the panel where, just having a conversation, Spider-Man can't help swinging through a doorway while talking.

See, it's touches like that which I love. Spider-Man should probably constantly be wanting to jump around and climb and skitter across walls...Pete Parker can't do that, keeping himself in check until he finally gets that mask on and can do his thing.

That´s what Stan Lee says, if put Spider-man just standing around, you´re wasting him.
