I don't see why that would be the case just because he's married.  So much of the Flash mythology as it relates to Barry has been about how Iris is his one true love, so I don't see the upside in separating them.

I don't think they should be separated either. It's just hard to imagine Barry
as a grandfather!

I'm sure they'll downplay it, assuming they mention it at all, what with Bart being dead 'n' all.

If, with no explanation, there were a brief scene showing Wally back in high
school... Now that would truly be something...

Not trying to pick a fight here. You know I like y'all. And this is just one man's opinion. Buuuttt....

We've spent a lot of time talking about how one of the problems with today's comics is an inability to move beyond the past. How every past story, no matter now small or inconsequential, never gets forgotten. Every scrap of the past must be revisited and revisited again. The result is a continuity so thick that any potential fan under the age of 35 or so is hopelessly lost. At least, that's what I hear a lot of people saying here (and I agree.)

So explain to me exactly how bringing back Barry Allen - who has been dead for twenty-two years --  is a good idea?

As a matter of principle, I tend to agree with you, Bruce. It's indicative to
me of the navel-gazing that's mostly characterized DC for the past
several years, in my opinion.
