Love that ish too, Victor...one of the best and most original Hulk/Thing fights, plus Buckler's Hulk is gorgeous Kirby'd.
This is also maybe one of the last times Ben is considered as strong as the Hulk, without the Hulk getting that trump card of "stronger as madder" which cheapened the character somewhat. Back when, the Hulk was simply slightly stronger but much more vicious and violent, so Ben is a fighter going up against a psychopath for the most part. The Hulk overwhelms with his savagery, as indicated by the mind switch here, and the Hulk as the Thing still pounding Ben.
But the best part is that Ben as Hulk is well on his way to knocking out the Hulk once and for all, when Reed interferes. Proving that Ben with more strength would indeed defeat the Hulk, skill over rage.
You won't ever see that kind of good-time story again!
