*Side note: Those commissions in the white frames are actually copies of the originals. The originals currently live in a portfolio.•• People have asked me occasionally why I don't do that with my own collection of original art, to further protect the pieces. Problem there is, it seems I can almost never show my Studio to civilian friends without having to explain to somebody that, no, the pieces on the walls are NOT prints!

I'm glad to see you have the non-shiny Galactus, from HeroClix, Bill. I recently sent a friend that version, to replace the shiny one he had, and he was very much surprised, he said, by how much BETTER it looked.Based on how Kirby (and others) have drawn the character, it only makes sense that the metal of his armor have a high gloss to it, but on a statue, to my eyes at least, it just looks wrong!

That X-Men cover is looking good, William.
I wish I had some more wonderful commissions like that in my Brad Cave...the one I don't share with my wife. Muhahaha!
P.S. I picked up the non shiny Galactus after recommendations on this board and it does look great.

Thanks guys. I painted the room that color just because I thought it would make the art stand out. I framed ten pieces (only the two are commissions) for the room. Once they were hung I realized that I could fit another 8 pieces easily. Now I have the task of figuring out which eight I want framed. It took forever to decide the first 8 (the Darkseid and FF were no-brainers) another eight will be painful. It's like Sophie's Choice. I love them all equally.
