I have had several pieces framed and found it very addictive once I started. Typically I go for a bigger framed piece, with 4 1/2" to 5" inches of matting around the piece. Though I've done smaller matting dimensions, one constant for me up until this point had been the use of double matting. It costs more, but seeing a black matt with brick red trim around my Spider-Man pages or green trimmed around my hulk page is just cool. My understanding of the library glass/UV protection is that unless it is going to be exposed to direct sunlight or a room with tons of it, that it is overkill. Have fun with the process.
