Interesting! I had no idea you could get a "blank" pony.

I suppose it would make it pretty easy to do a Moon Knight one at some point. :)

So I'm a bit behind on checking in on this, but I do have to say that thoe Batman & Robin TV ponies are the coolest thing I've seen in a long time! Great job!

and this is coming from someone who had to work on My Little Pony art for Hasbro in the 90's. One of the few jobs that was such a horrible pain it almost had me in tears...
Damn ponies!
If only they looked like yours, Jodi!!!!!!

Dave that is so cool you worked on the ponies in the 90's. I did not realize what a "cult" following they have, when I first started doing these I came upon a couple sites where it showed My little Pony conventions. Even though it was a pain did you realize when you were doing them, how much of an impact they were making on little girls? Do you want in on the drawing or our you anti-pony at this point :0) If you want to see all the other ponies I've done you can go to my website, it's not a selling site I got it so my college room mate can see what I am doing with these.

Do you still work for Hasbro or in the toy industry? Jon and I got a chance to visit Hasbro in Ohio when he was big into the star war figures, the guy we met there that worked on the SW figures hated the movies, which horrified Jonathan.

Hi Jodi- I worked for an illustration studio from 97-99 that worked alot
for Hasbro. One of my first projects was a big painted My Little Pony
board game. I foolishly tried to paint it (instead of going digital) and I
totally choked- the linework was too thick, the colors to "boyish". Barely
got it out to Fed-Ex, as missing deadlines is not an option in the real
world. Unfortunately, Hasbro rejected it, and I had to redo it. Then, after it
was approved, Hasbro killed the entire game (too expensive a product &
not enough interest). I think I still have the original game board painting
around here- it's a pretty big painting...
Don't do much for Hasbro now-most of the licensing work I do is for Nick
and a company called the Bradford Exchange. I do have a buddy who did
some packaging paintings for Kenner (Ewok Battle Wagon), but I never
visited the offices even though I lived in Cincinnati in 95-97...

well, I guess that's enough of that...
great work on the ponies!
