Tarzan has been blessed with some of the best of the best. Buscema,
Kubert, Manning, Hal Foster.

As that Vader guy would say, "Impressive. Most impressive."

Now you're just teasing...   and seeing that Roy Thomas was on script duty doesn't really make me want to read this less, if you know what I mean.

An extended Neal Adams run of Tarzan would've been sweet... as would a Byrne one, I might add. I mean, the Son of the Apes deserves to be done by the Master of Drawing Apes.

Indeed.  I was so pleased when I noticed that the old paperback of Tarzan of the Apes that I had picked up (together with a Princess of Mars) in a second hand book shop in Amsterdam sported a glorious Neal Adams cover. Very happy camper.

And now, for the record, I'm even more sure I've read Thomas and Buscema's Tarzan as a kid... spotted this cover at Mile High Comics. And I'm 99.99% sure I've read that story in Swedish (with that cover on the Swedish comicbook as well).

I don't know that I've ever seen a JB Tarzan.

I know you've had some interest in Ka-Zar, JB. I don't know who has Tarzan's rights at this point, but any interest in the Ape Man hisownself?
