I think we'll see Ari get a Commissioner Gordon before an Etrigan.

I love the Creature Commandos. Even their "revamped " miniseries from about 10 years back was fun, though strictly speaking, not quite them. Some of them recently made a stealth appearance in Checkmate, but I can't wait to see them in Action Comics with the Big "S".

I've been partial to Solomon Grundy.  Took me a long time to figure out why everyone said he wasn't really alive.  Looked alive to me.  Still does.  Great villain.

Love your list Joe.  I too would love to see Grodd, Grundy, Man Bat, and all the rest.

Peter:"I think we'll see Ari get a Commissioner Gordon before an Etrigan. "  I thought about getting Gordon and Alfred poses to complete my Bat Family, but didn't want to spend the money on the plain clothes guys.  Also, didn't think either character lended themsleves to pose format

I don't know if monkeys, apes and gorillas necessarily count as monsters, but they sure were a menace on a lot of DC's Silver Age covers. with that idea in mind, I humbly offer this photo:



All it needs is this guy with a concerned expression on his face and a thought balloon that says "If  I can't find some way to get the Reality Disintegrator Rifle away from Koko, the universe is doomed!"



 . . . and maybe some go-go checks.
