I'm going to have to track down a Sam Adams Honey Porter -- was recently disappointed with the new Michelob Porter.

I'll second Juan's Negra Modela and Corona selections -- two of my faves.  My all-time favorite, though, would be Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout:

This is a "one at a time" beer for me -- one beer fills me up and totally satisfies.  I don't drink it very often, but it may be my all-time favorite, and it's ALWAYS excellent every time I have it

There is a local restaurant and micro-brewery here called Brewsters that makes one of the best raspberry wheat ales I've ever had, and a Blueberry wheat ale (which in the restaurant, they put fresh blueberries in the beer when it's served). These guys would make a fortune if they made it available elsewhere (fortunately for me, they have it available as a 6 pack).

Bah - ONE beer? I'll make it two - one for winter, one for summer, both for Emery.

MAUDITE - a Quebec beer, 8% alcohol, tastes like autumn and it's wonderful. BUT, after a few you'll wake up in purgatory just like those guys in the flying canoe on the label (LINK)

and:

LA FIN DU MONDE (end of the world): - sweet summer flavour goes down smooth, 9% kick in the head. Handle with care.

PS - That guy in the photo is not me.

Nick Nolte?

Looking like a tired God and holding a beer called The End of The World?

Well ... I guess there are worse ways of ushering in Armageddon.

Easy for me: Samuel Adam's Boston Lager. I can no longer do the lawn mower beers. Yuck.

One beer is impossible!!! I am a huge fan of Guiness and drank it endlessly when I was in England for a month. I must have had 3-5 pints a day on average. However, if I had to pick one beer to drink the rest of my life there is a very good Korean beer call OB. It is pretty darned good icy cold with sushi.

Guiness Foreign Extra is good.  As is Lowenbrau Oktoberfest.

But then as a member of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, beer is not my speciality.

Over the years, my favorite has changed (and changed), and I enjoy seasonal brews at different times of the years, including lime in the summer, but I guess if I had to pick one, it would be my current favorite, Yuengling traditional lager.
