That's why the question was fun to ask. Trust me, there are a ton of beers that I enjoy, but in the end it was easy for me to narrow it down to one. Honey Porter is the beer I will buy, hands down every time, when I go to the store to pick up some brew.

I'm a man of simple tastes and would have to go with Busch.

Good God, why don't you just ask me to choose which of my children will live and die?!?
Going with what I order the most when I'm out.

You're a man after my girlfriend's heart, Ryan. Guinness is the only beer she drinks. Yeah, OK, I love it too!

I had Sam Adams two years ago for the first time. I was disapointed.
For choosing only 1 bee, I would have to go with Becks. I don't get it very often because of the price but I like it the most. In Ontario, most 24s cost $35 and up. There are a lot of discount brands for $26.40, I typically stick with those, I can't justify spending an extra $10 on a case when I don't have too. Becks would be about $40+ for 24.

This is my favorite, with guiness as second.

This thread makes me sad, only because my beer of choice isn't available here in the States:
But if I can't have this one, it would have to be a Guinness.

Tough call. My favorite beer is...
But I try not to drink it regularly. In the past I tended to drink beers until I was sick of them, I don't want that to happen here. If I am not drinking this it is a nice pint of Guinness.
There are a lot of really good breweries out there; Great Lakes, Stone's, Rogue and Anchor all come to mind.

I developed a taste for all things Jamaican ( including my wife) as a teen thanks to Red Stripe beer and Bob Marley.

Red Rocket Ale : It will make us stronger or it will kill us.
It's a very angry beer and it clearly wants to hurt you. It is like a potable, fluid version of Drago from Rocky 4. The man at the tavern told me it was "rich and bready". Yeah. It's "rich and bready" in the same sense that being hit by a compact car is "rich and bready".
I believe the world-beer should be like a fierce opponent that challenges every fibre of your being and pursues you mercilessly across sharp rocks in the darkest hour of a humid night, until you find the courage to turn, sieze a stone, and savagely strike it down with a cold look in your eyes. Otherwise you could have saved some money and bought something friendly and easy like a Mickey's.
Full disclosure: I may have the beer drinker's equivalent of Stockholm Syndrome.
