The thread title should be obvious, but I'll state it here for the record: this thread is only for those who enjoy the sweet nectar that is beer!

If you had to choose one, and only one, beer that was forevermore produced, which one beer would it be and why?

My choice would be easy.  I'm a huge fan of Sam Adams.  Love it.  My favorite of their brews was Honey Porter.  I was hugely disappointed when they stopped making it about a decade ago.  Then I happened to be walking down the beer aisle of my local grocery store earlier this year and lo and behold I discovered they started making it again after a decade!  It's no longer offered in twelve pack bottles and the six pack is expensive at $10, but it's totally worth it to me as it's my favorite beer ever.  I love dark, rich beers.  Can't take light beers nor am I a fan of domestic brews like Bud, Coors, or Miller.  It's Sam Adams Honey Porter all the way.

What say you, beer lover?

Funny you should pick that one, Matt. It's one of the two beers I actually enjoy the taste of. The other being Sam Adams Cherry Wheat.

Five posts in a thread about beer, and nothing from Simko??

Sweet Jeebus, what is this world coming to?

Oh yeah....I like this stuff....

Can't get it here in my area, but I like the stuff from these folks, too....

SO tough to call.  One beer forever...didn't I already have to make that call when I got married?!?

Alright...if I had to choose, I suppose I'd go here...

Ah precious amber darling, how I love thee. I don't remember if Matt made me drink Sam Adams when I was down there but my go-to (when I can afford it) is Sleeman's Cream Ale.

McEwan's Scotch Malt Liquor.

But asking us to pick just ONE BEER is a cruel and unusual punishment.

When I die and go to Heaven (and I AM going to heaven) it'll look like Belgium and there will be chocolate and about 5000 types of UNFILTERED frikking brews.

I had Sam Adams Cherry Wheat at my wedding, one of my favorites.  My sister then informed me that it was "Sorority Party Beer."  That was the only depressing thing that happened that day.

Love me the Sam Adams!  Creamy and smooth!!!!
