Just wanted to say that I think JRjr is a brilliant artist.  He's long been one of my favourites, right up there alongside JB.

What's everyone's favorite John Romita JR run?

••

Slightly biased here, but the stuff he gave me on IRON MAN will always be
my favorite!

Wiacek did a superb job, though.

My favorite run was DD.

I loved his work on Iron Man with JB, but I think my favorite run of JRJR's was
his work on Daredevil.

Like others, I'd love to see him on Superman for a good, long run.

There are basically 3 artists whose work I will always buy, story unknown:  John Byrne, Alan Davis and John Romita, Jr.  Though there are simply too many good runs to choose from for JRJR, I keep going back to his UXM(first run).  Brings back so many great memories of my comic reading heydays.

Paulo Pereira:

 QUOTE:
As do I, though a case can be made that it's not the most gorgeous (i.e. I didn't mean to suggest that his work was unattractive; faulty wording on my part).

Exactly what I meant!

Another good thing in JR Jr. is he's a very good cover artist. Let me post some example of his skill!

Part 1: AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (1980/1983)

These couple of runs at the beginning of his career brings me fond
memories!

I loved the arcs in his first run in Spm with Madam Web and Hyde/Cobra
and Juggernaut! What a fantastic way to start a profesional career! (ok, I
know that Iron Man was his first continued work, but I discovered his
work in Spm).

About X-Men, once I got used to stop enjoying more Paul Smith issues in
the serie, I enjoyed very much the first JR jr run. Although he had a
fantastic evolution and has not stopped to evolute and improve, these
early issues in the series are among my favourites.

Edited to add: And what can I say about his DD run?! Simply breathtaking!
My favourite JR jr work ever!! The arcs with Mephisto/Blackheart and
Ultron and Inhumans are unbeatable!
