Stunning, JB. Really love how you draw the Thing whether it is his earliest or current form.

How about "after me and Joe" ? If that seems a bit too familiar, then I second
Ferran's recommendation.
Oh, and that panel is my favorite from the issue.

What about "With acknowledgement to Sinnott's embellishment"?

Something there, definitely. |
|
|
Maybe something short and sweet like "inks after Sinnott"?

* I wish I could ink like Joe, not that Joe inked like me!
JB,
What is it about Mr. Sinnott's inking/style that causes you to wish to ink like Joe?

How about your signature with the note "with a nod to Joe Sinnott"?

"What's Swedish for "thing" in this context"
"Sak".. "en sak" >> "a thing".
The real reason I'm told was that the "Adams family" was on TV in sweden and they didn't want anyone to get confused. There, the 'thing' was that hand that crept around everywhere.

As noted in my initial post in this thread, my preference would have been a "modernized" version. Essentially, inking over the same shot in my present
style. |

Aside from the fact that you haven't been commissioned to do so, what's to stop you from doing it anyway? There's got to be at least one collector who will buy it.

Wouldn't that be a wee bit like saying to this customer, "Okay, here's your
drawing -- but here's how I could have done it better!"?

Nothing that can be isolated or singled out. Just the whole package. He is
so damn GOOD!!
