Looking forward to the trade. I missed the first issue off the shelves so I thought I'd wait for the collection.

Ok, this thread means I'll soon have to stop by my LCS soon then.
WO wrote: "Andrew said, 'What do you mean "first mini"?'
To paraphrase, 'there is another' (or there will be - probably early next year)"
That IS good news to be sure... but seeing that you've (at least not thus far) wanted to talk about it in here, where will be able to get info on it, etc. I hope somebody will be kind enough to notify me when I'll have to place another "subscription" order with my LCS.
Btw, no FXmas Special in the wings then?
And Wayne, while I obviously can't comment on the ending as of yet, you've certainly not let my expectations down along the way so far. And that's five great issues backing that statement. Honestly one of the most fun new* superhero comics I've read in an age. Heck, you and JB have had me buying comic books again (because I just couldn't wait for the TPB, which after all is my normal mode these days).
Paulo - you'll be in for a treat! And just FYI, Wayne, the TPB is in my Amazon Wishlist since I first spotted it quite a while back.
* new in the sense of newly written, as opposed to reprinted material, and furthermore newly written rather than newly "created". Because I truly think FX is among the best and brightest things I've seen on the market, debut comics or old and faithful alike.

Wayne-
As I haven't gotten my #6 yet, I can't comment on the ish.
However, as a customer, and future customer of the TPB as well, I'd like to disagree, nicely, with the comments in this thread about wanting to see FX's inner workings at home, or expanding the characters personalities.
I would like to see more FX adventures, and learn who he is from his reactions to the curveballs life throws at him ONLY.
IMHO, the comic world doesn't need another Soap Opera. It needs a little less talk, and a lot more action.
Thanks, and I hope I get my ish this weekend!

I love the team created. The whole series had a fun feel to it.
Are we going to see more FX Wayne and John? I sure hope so.

I've only read the first four issues so far. Waiting for my monthly shipment for the sixth one (I have the 5th, but haven't read it). I think this is a great book, and I'm going to pick up the TPB and give the singles to my GF's kids.
