I bought the comics to read AND support Wayne (Heck, John Byrne was drawing them), and I will buy the trade to support Wayne and read it again.

P.S. I already sold the comics to make room for the trade.

Oh, BTW, I really enjoyed them and hope Wayne gets lucky in another medium.  He is, after all, my favorite lucky bastard.

Lying In The Gutter is telling people to buy FX issues since he predicts Byrne will be having a renascence at IDW and his new material will become popular.

I found the LITG article -- it's in this week's column:

SPECULATION CORNER

Yellow Light"FX," the series by Wayne Osbourne and John Byrne from IDW, saw its last issue drop out of the Top 300, selling in the low four figures and many issues sit, alone and unloved on shop shelves or 50c back issue bins.

This is an excellent opportunity for speculators to clean up. At some point we are due a John Byrne revival in the next ten years, and this recent work will be so much rarer than his better-selling Big Two work. Also, "FX" is prime for a movie adaptation, someone taking the basic idea and making a film around it.

So this is a long term speculation. Pick up whatever copies of "FX" you can, cheap. Stick them in the basement. And wait. Making a 20x return on your investment is not inconceivable.

Can't post it enough times -- any press is good press.

Congratulations to Wayne and John.

Just finished 5 & 6 in a row. Great Great action stuff. Wayne shows he's so much left to show, with no best possible artist (it seems you open all ideas you store for ages in only 6 issues....2 regular teams, still misterious Zeus powers ? Aegis.....already established supervillains (Svengali)...) please, do it again !!!

Pairs climbing Olympus remind me of X-men pairings in Krakoa...opponents just...GIANTS !!!! Increbile layout.

Sadly understood it won't be with John anymore ? Ouch.....

I am happy for you Wayne, it's rare we manage to please Christmas gifts / see our dreams come true at our age.....

Sincerely thanks for the ride.
