Never had a notification, I had to go into the application itself to see the challenge.  This is going to take some getting used to.  I feel old.

Anyone who really misses Scrabulous and hates that buggy, ugly and
slooooow 'official' Scrabble that's been foisted on us, Scrabulous is still
out there.

It's called "Wordscraper" now, and in order to get around the copyright
issue, they've made the board completely customizable. You can decide
where the bonus squares go, and whether they're 2x, 3x or even 4x and
5x letter or word scores.

You can also set tile distribution and the points each individual letter is
worth yourself.

Which means you can set up Wordscraper so that it is exactly like
Scrabulous/Scrabble.

I've created a template, and anyone who wants to play the classic
Scrabulous/Scrabble in Wordscraper, just let me know. I'll start a game
with you and then you can use the board set-up to start games of your
own with whoever you like.

(Wordscraper is also fun on its own using its random board layouts and
bonus points. Right, Paulo?)

Twice, at that (though one was much less of a blowout).  And, of course, there's still time to turn the tide.

Yeah; the woodshed beatings, not so much...

Don't think of them as woodshed beatings. That sounds so dirty. In my
family we always called them "A Royal Canadian Shitkicking".

You know, to make you feel like you should be proud to be on the receiving
end of one...

(And if it's any consoltation, my wife regularly awards me a Royal
Canadian Shitkicking whenever we play...)

In that case "thank you, sir, may I have another?"  BTW, I misspoke before.  Al is actually 3-0 against me.

(And yes, that is a consolation.  Thanks.  :))

If I'm getting a Royal Canadian Shitkicking, I prefer that Crown Royal is involved!
