a steroid injection will improve it

Jodi with 'Roid Rage is a chilling thought! She might run to New York to throttle Bill O'Reilly instead of just thinking of doing it!

So there are good things about Roid Rage. LOL

Jodi, I will be more then willing to retract my double dog/cat dare until your shoulder gets better

I never back down from a double dog/cat dare. But that was nice of you. :0)

Ouch ! How did you hurt your shoulder?

I saw this little girl walking out into traffic and yanked her back in just enough time, I did it so hard and quick it tore my shoulder, but it was worth it, I saved her life................... I wish.

OK this is the sad part,  I beat my husband in Wii bowling and of course being the gracious winner that I always am, I did my usual victory "in your face" dance (same one I'll do if Obama wins, but in a less arm swinging way) while humming out loud this song. (look for the girl at about 11 seconds in, that was pretty much my dance)

needless to say, I get no sympathy at all.

Hey, fellow customizers -- sorry I didn't post this earlier, but the deadline for CustomCon 21 is September 1st . . . this is a fun way to share your customs with others.  I think Lars may have participated in the past, but I'm not sure on that.  Stuff like Jodi's My Pretty Pony customs would go over great, and the Might Muggs customs would also be a big hit, I believe.

Here's the info:

CustomCon  21 Guidelines

Some of my customs were featured in CustomCon 13:

FAO Direct JLU Customs - CustomCon 13

I have submitted my Captain Marvel JLU custom for CustomCon 21 -- they ask for a minimum of 3 figures, but they will accept single entries.  I did my write-up as though the Captain Marvel would be the "final" figure in the FAO Direct JLU Customs line-up.

Fun stuff.

John I sent in the Stan Lee Mugg, The Thing Pretty Pony and Luke Cage Pretty Pony, I had no idea what to write as a description, I just wrote one sentence, it totally sucked, so I won't hold my breath they get on the site. But thanks so much for the link, and feeling mine might have a chance.

Your stuff looked amazing!!!! and your write up was so professional.

Lars thanks for the get well wishes!

Jodi, don't thank me so quickly, my wishes for your
fast recovery are somewhat selfish on my part.
I want you feeling better so you get back to work on the Ponies!

(Jest jokin'.) :)

John, thanks for that link!
I've never seen that website before, lots of great stuff
to look at!
The Customcom 13 write up you posted there was excellent.

Good luck with your Captain Marvel! Let us know if you get in.

(edit) Good luck to you too Jodi!

Glad to hear you submitted your stuff, Jodi -- I think it will go over great!  Your work is the kind of original customs that they're looking for with the CustomCons.

I'll try to give you all more of a heads-up for the next CustomCon.  Next time around (which should be next spring), I hope to have some of the Marvel Classic Figurines ready to submit . . . they're not true "action figures," but they are superhero-oriented, which should qualify them for inclusion.

I'm taking a break on the Viper for a couple of days to start work on the figures.  Here's the prototype.  Ignore that the buckles are not spaced properly; it's more of a test to see if the buckles and the piping worked as planned.

Oh yeah, and the figure is profoundly pigeon-toed.  Better fix that, too.
