Too true, too true, and I'd missed about three days, I think. ;)
But the time spent catching up is truly time well spent. Mood improver if nothing else.

LOL   (well, admittedly more of a chuckling out loud, so I guess it should be COL or would it be ChOL?)

Anyways, if you practice that whit daily for a year or so, I may well come to quote you and the stars will then await you and...
Darn it! just realised I'd already quoted Moyer and thusly my pretence at power is now undone. ;)

Ah, the talk of the beer-not-to-be-touched in the fridge of the JBF executive lounge is suddenly taking on whole other meanings. Forbidden fruit, obviously, but should we drink it, I'm suspecting we'll know a whole heckuva lot more about good and evil... or at least something.

Well, not having visited the party, I'll take you're word for that, Al, and sit around smelling the flowers in here for a while instead. :)

Your welcome, Moyer. ;)

Are Scientologist "allowed" to be gay?

Heaven's no!  It's just ANOTHER effect of those nasty aliens living inside someone!  Why do you think so many closeted queers join them?  They want to pay to not be gay!!!!

Indeed, and I'll throw in another 15 right here for ya, for making me the "judge" of that particular "contest" for a while at least, Moyer! ;)

Well, that's what I thought. So if that other Tom is gay (and I'll keep from guessing one way or another), there'd be a major reason for not coming clean about it. Unless he'd change "religion".*

Did you say something, Sir Vice?  ;)

* Still have a VERY hard time seeing Scientology as religion. I mean while all religions could, at the very least, seem to be the stuff of fiction, I'm having a very hard time grasping how anyone would buy into the "alien teachings" recieved by a low rated Science Fiction writer who's reputed to have said that one could make more money if one invented a religion. I just find it amazing that the aliens picked him of all people, and that the "faith" involves given a lot of money supposed to go upward in the "food chain". Ah well, I'll keep quiet now.

Oh, come on, Wha-Keem, you know that most religions are founded upon a book of fiction!

Not to turn this into "that" kind of thread, but I couldn't resist the joke.

We spent nine hours in the studio yesterday laying down the tracks for our CD of my show, AESOP'S FOIBLES -- not pimping it, just saying.  Absolutely exhausting!  Still, couldn't sleep last night at all.  Our plane leaves in a little over twelve hours for London, then two days later, to Edinburgh and the Fringe!  Woohoo!!!!

I'll still be wired for sound over there, but probably won't be as active online.  We'll see what happens as I become Super Chaperone!!!

Oh, I thought I said that (though perhaps a tad bit more politely), Tom. ;)

Mostly though, I'd say, it gets to slip by a bit better because
a) the author(s) isn't around or even named,
and b) the author(s) in question hasn't pointed out the fact that it'd be a smart plan to earn a buck.
The latter sorts of impinges on the reliability of the source more than a little.

Saw this online this morning and thought I'd share it in the approriate thread!  I think its a pretty great story!  "Love and marriage, love and marriage . . . ."

Edited to add: The couple pictured in the article live in the town I grew up in! Yay, South Orange!
