Cruise is such a homo -- makes me mad that he takes such pains to hide it,
like it would really affect his career at this point. I think that if he WAS
honest, people would be a lot more comfortable with him.

Geez! At this point, if he came Out, wouldn't the Gay community try to push
him back in? You really want him in your club?

Well, except for he's crazy, to boot. (C'mon - anyone see those internal
Scientology videos? Hoo-boy!)

One thing about Liberace -- and this from a professional pianist -- he was an AMAZING musician.  That dude could PLAY -- even with the weight of those garrish rings on his fingers!

re: CRUISE

I don't think the gay community would be giving him a Lavender Elite card, no, but the general public wouldn't think he was quite so creepy if he were honest.

Then there's Tom Cruise -- who I think is way too weird to be gay...

----------

And I may be in this camp by myself... what's the attraction at all about him?
Has anyone seen his weird ass body? Yeah he's pretty fit and all, but there's
something off about his body. I'd definitely push him back in.

I was amused when ESQUIRE ran this cover in their "Dubious Achievements"
issue. . .

…with the comment that Cruise thereby proved once and for all that he was not Gay.

"Oh, Mandy -- you came and you gave without taking..."

I have a deep respect for Barry Manilow -- we as a nation still hum some of his most famous jingles.  Not his songs, his advertising work.  His songs are perhaps a little formulaic, especially his later work, but I still like 'em!

That Vanity Fair cover is Frickin' hilarious... I'm surprised Tom didn't sue
over that one...
