Okay my Latin American friends, what has been the response to Ricky Martin's announcement? Shock? Acceptance? "I knew it!" I'm curious as to how the media is handling it. Here, it was news but we all kinda figured...

Just thought I'd bump this up again and also to give u guys an update on things in this little paradise called Portugal: All political parties (left and right) have voted to lift the ban that prevented gay men from donating blood. The Same-sex law now has the constitutional court's approval. The president had asked for them to check if it was a constitutional law and, surprise surprise!, it is! So now the president has to either approve it or not. Not a bad week, i'd say :D
