Antonio, you do realize that if anything had happened, it would have been because of your recklessness?  Do you have a death wish?

You need to stop the drinking totally or slow it down.  Sounds like you have a lot of privilege, not a lot of us are able to go to exclusive beach resorts and we work hard to get by.  So listening to you act so self-destructive is frustrating.

KNOCK IT OFF and get help.  If you are so depressed and engaging in such dangerous things, you need to either go to Alcholics Anonymous or therapy.  You also sound like you need affection or love, but how can another love you when it sounds like you have trouble loving yourself?

I have no trouble loving myself...oh wait, you don't mean that type of loving do you, Ed?  Nevermind. :-P

Ed, doesn't that bottom pic look as if you would be walking towards the "X"?  Reminds me of when I lived in Newark, also.  Geesh, I've lived in some real dives!

That bottom picture looks like where Jonathan was living in Brooklyn, actually that would have been an improvement.

Look at it this way, Jodi, if Jonathan can survive living there, he can live just about anywhere.  Plus, it'd make him want to return home more often. ;-)

Ignorance is truly bliss.

I agree, Jodi.  The less my mother knows about my college experience, the better off all parties are.

Jeremiah, I thought the same thing - that it looks like the X.  Or the lower part of Belmont Ave heading toward downtown.  That area has now officially become the worst part of Springfield.  Shootings every night.

The lower part of Belmont Ave is close to where I originally spent the first 10 years of my life.  It was never an ideal place so when I hear how it's gone downhill, that's just sad that it could have possibly gotten worse from when I was there.

I'm with ED on this. You need to stop drinking and get some help.

That...or you are playing us for fools.

On another topic....my Husband and i will be on May in L.A....We have been invited to the consecration of two new Bishops in the Diosece of L.A., of the Episcopal Church. It's gonna be very important, because one of them is an openly partnered lesbian...what makes her the second Gay Bishop of EC.

Gay Power Baby!

I feel basically like I have been somebody's punching bag.

So stop being one and start being a man.

Stand up for yourself and stop the whinning.  The only one who can make you happy is you so find what makes you happy and do it.  And if you're not willing to do it then have the decency and self respect not to whine about it.

Let me be perfectly frank.  I think you're full of shit.  I don't believe your stories and think you've been lying to us.  If my gut is right I find it contemptable and pathetic.

If I'm wrong then I can't respect you enough to pity you.  Everyone has problems.  Not everyone whines about it.  Assuming you're telling the truth (a huge assumption since you've already lied about your name) here some free advice: be honest with yourself and others.  Take some responsibility for yourself and stop the pity party.
