Defacing money may be "Illegal" but it has been raised to an art form by some.

I like how other countries' currency (bills) always feel like monopoly money (color, size, touch, smell) even though to someone from a different country my currency probably feels like monopoly money.

True.

Well, I used to  get paid in dollars here in Peru for a part time job but I would always change all of it to soles immediately (except for the amount that I would use for buying comics online).

Don, that dollar looks really whitish... I was under the impression that your money was greenish.  What's the deal?

Brand new bills are a very pale green paper with dark green ink...The newest bills even have a yellowish tinge to them as well...I think they look like someone spilled bleach on them.

I know it's politically wrong to confess this, but some of those dollars are quite funny.

So I got drunk yesterday. And I got lost. And somehow I drifted away from the clubs and the exclusive beaches of Asia (which are 100 kilometers away from Lima), and I ended up  in a horrible place, I got scared.

I was here :

And I ended up in a place like this or worse:

I can't remember the last time I was so scared. Then some dogs started barking at me and I run, and I fell. And I felt like an idiot. And then some kids were going to the Asia Boulevard and thank goodness they stopped, picked me up and gave me a ride.

However I didn't explain to them where they were supposed to leave me so they did get me back to asia and the exclusive beaches and clubs, but on a wrong entrance. I had to climb a wall and jump, I lost my glasses, had to pay a security guard to help me find them. Then I tried to reach my club through another club's entrance and the guys at the door didn't let me in (I was absolutely covered in dirt and I must have looked awful). So I kept walking, I went through some sort of forest and I kept falling down and getting bumps, I got scratches all over my body because of the damned thorns, I got even more dirty and I finally got to another club door and the guard was sleeping so I just walked in and then I was finally in the coast. It took me an hour and a half to get to my club, to the beach I go to every weekend. And with all the falls and whatnot now I'm having problems again moving my right hand and my legs hurt and I feel basically like I have been somebody's punching bag.

That bottom picture reminds me of some of places I've lived in. Oh woe is you.
