Probably speed, Jodi, as it would be refreshing and keep me in good shape. Buns of steel, baby.

I would like to have Xavier's powers. Ed, I thought you were talking about the movie Jumpers. That's what the main character does.

Congratulations to Tom and Eric for official confirmation of what was already true; you are married. Jodi, I do like that when postulating the question of super powers you told us to think long and hard... which leads to my super power but truth to tell I kind of already got th... Anyhoo, for fun, extremely durable. If totally invulnerable I think it would be difficult to feel certain things (which would negate my current super pow..., never mind) and being extremely durable would still allow me to do all kinds of fun and nutty things. But then again if actually offered I'd probably go with immortality. Sock away money for 100 years and live off the interest till civilization crumbles. And then join the Eloi.

I'd go with immortality as well, as long as i didn't age as well (wouldn't want to be an immortal guy falling apart)

Pedro, good stipulation. In Gulliver's Travels, he meets the people who live forever but their bodies keep aging in real time.
Oh dear.
Arc, I've never even seen "Jumpers."

On the other hand, can I say "witchcraft" - speaking of "Bewitched" - because then I'd have a whole host of powers.
Haven't there been characters with whom "witchcraft" is a power?

Been watching TV Land and I have to say I don't think there was ever a more beautiful American woman on TV than Samantha Stevens. Ever.
Sorry, Endora.

And as you all know, I am merely an incarnation or avatar of the Mighty Wha-keem.

I'm just saying ONE thing. ---- Superman.

Not having read Wells take on it at the time, I take. Invisibility somehow seems like one of the most problematic powers. Would it include clothes (and if so how much, etc)? And then there's still the whole thing with being a physical entity nobody sees... perhaps even oneself. Co-ordination would seem problematic.
Me. I'd take teleportation any day of the week.

I guess that'd depend on how the invulnerability worked. Presumably you could for example feel stuff though no damaging being done... and if no damage was done, one could perhaps argue that what you feel might also not register as pain.
