I gotta name the few that most of you know...

Lifesavers
Hershey's miniatures
Mambas
Popeye's Spinach bubble gum
M&Ms

Most of them are still there (with the exception of real Lifesavers and not the jelly ones that i see in stores now).

What the hell is Spinach bubble gum? :)

They still make real lifesavers here.  They don't have the hard candy kind in Mexico anymore, Juan?

I know Ed, and last year, while i was in MN i forgot to buy a bag of Lifesavers for me. Here they don't make them anymore. Seems like the ones made of jelly are on fashion.

As for the bubble gum....

I was talking about these...

I had forgotten about Junior Mints and York Peppermint Patties - great, strong flavors.

Ahhhh, I see, Juan.  We have "shredded" bubble gum here as well, (or used to) called "Big League Chew."

It came in a pouch that was supposed to emulate the chewing tobacco baseball players used.  Nothing like indoctrinating kids to chaw early on.

Also, i loved Chinese "White Rabbits", vanilla candies wrapped in rice sheets. The sad thing is that a couple of years ago, those were reported to be contaminated with lead. WTF??....What happened to my childhood????

Anybody ever have one of those Kit-Kat bars that was the size of an oversized candy bar?
