They're predicting a blizzard here.  Perfect weather for a stew.

For me, i'll have pizza tonight with a friend. Tomorrow i have a date with a lovely girlfriend and will have breakfast at iHop, and then, to the National Auditorium" for the next Satellite Broadcast of MetOpera, and then pick up my Hubby at the airport and going to a dinner together with some friends!

We just got home from helping our friends with their daughter's 8th birthday party help entertain and wrangle a household of eight year old girls.  We're planning on pizza, some work on our costumes for the Vegas-themed fundraiser dance for my girlfriend's daughter's dance studio, some pizza, a soak in the tub, and then some one-on-one time together.

Simon Boccanegra is also very good, Juan Jose.  I saw that several years ago now and liked it.

But Carmen is one of the best with the best scores ever.

Ever see "La Boheme"?  I love that, too.

Al, that sounds domestic and wonderful.  I don't usually lament the fact that I have been single for so long, but some days, I do.

This is one of those days.

Ed, one of the things that my new life has taught me is that I was worse than single for a very long time.  When i was married, an evening like that would have been a hollow, empty dream.

Being alone alone is far far better than being alone together.
