I guess I have no one to blame but myself ... My therapist used to say that I was somehow racist because I would only feel attracted to white guys. And of course, in Peru less than 5% of the population is white, add the gay factor into the equation and things get complicated. That's why John was the ideal guy. So really I have no right to complaint ...

Thanks for that link, Jeremiah.  I'm in awe of the supreme logic this kid wields.  I'm ever so tired of the kind of Americans who vocally pronounce the American ideal as the supreme ideal of the world and then go to lengths proving they haven't understood a single thing of what the ideal the claim to support actually means and entails.  And then you have a brave and smart little kid who's not only figured it out very well indeed, but who stands up for it in the face of adversity. Impressive.

I was a much better person as a kid . Now I'm just a cynic, frustrated and bitter guy. And I'm not that old ...

I'd switch places, Arc.  I love Peruvian guys.

And Colombian.  And Mexican.  And Chilean. And Argentinian.  AndEcuadoran.  And Korean.  And Japanese.  And Indian.  AndMiddle Eastern.  And Israeli.  And Turkish.  And European.

Although, at the last Gay Pride parade I was at in NYC, the Peruvian dragqueens were the worst.  My friend - who's been to Peru- saidPeruvian drag queens tend to be ugly.

Arc, are yout "out" to many people?  Or are you?  My refugebefore I came out was comics and soap operas.  I am so grateful I had themfor they helped my imagination.

Texas inadvertently invalidates all marriages after 2005.  Now that's funny.

All in an effort to keep not only marriage away from the gays but even a semblance of rights.

I am so proud...Texan Proud!

I think you already know where to go in your next vacations ...

Well,  I don't like Peruvians and in fact I don't like Hispanic people  . So maybe I deserve to be alone .

Only my closest friends know that I'm gay (10 people or so) .

I guess comics, movies and books are still my refugee .

My place of employment has denied health insurance for my partner, claiming they are a "progressive school that does not discriminate based on sexual orientation" but unfortunately, the board has voted not to recognize domestic partnerships. What should I do?
