I echo the sentiments here as well, Juan. I'm glad obtaining the visa and the marriage license worked out for you - buracracy can hamstring the simplest of things at times. Do you plan on staying in Mexico City or possibly relocating? Once again, congrats!

@Moyer: Thank you, that means a lot to me!
@Arc: Again, send a email at juan.jose.colin@gmail.com (and those who want to watch them. Seems like Facebook options are not working properly).
@Jeremy: Thanks You. Our plan is to keep living in Mexico City. USA does not recognize same sex marriage in his immigration law, so being married does not grant me the same benefits as straight couples when one part is not american, but that could change in the future, if that DOMA law changes.

Maybe I shouldn't mention John again but the past couple of weeks I've barely talked to him. In fact I stopped going to classes for a week so that I wouldn't have to see him. I guess I needed time to accept that his relationship with that guy was going well (the only problem was that the guy was a bum and suddenly he got a job, so I lost all my hopes right there). So yesterday John suggested that we should study together for a test we have next week. And he also said that his relationship with that guy is not going so well. I know he is not doing it on purpose but it's like he is giving me false hopes. And I don't know if it was a good idea to say yes to the study session... What do you all think ? Oh, and Juan José, I just sent you an email.

I think you should just say to him what you said to us Arc. Juan, sadly I didn't get to see the photos before they were deleted.

Thank you , David. Well, I'm afraid it could create a problem between us. John is a good guy. I smile when I see him helping people, small things, but things that I don't do (because I'm selfish, etc.), he is always in a good mood and when I'm with him I feel really good. Talking with him is always fun. Which is why when I thought about stop talking to him and completely ignoring him I realized it would just be too hard for me. So I guess we can be friends . I don't know if he would ever consider dating me .

I didn't get a chance to see the link either Juan Jose ; (My loss though, let me know if you repost them somewhere else. Arc, methinks you are thinking waaaaaaayyy to much about a relationship with this John guy. Just go with the flow, and if he wants to hang out, as friends, why deny that? I know you are desperate for a relationship but don't assume he is. I think one of the worst character flaws of gay men (including me when I first came out) is getting almost offended when others we are attracted to, don't see us in the same light. Are you attracted to every guy? I'd guess not. So don't assume he is to you, BUT it sounds like this guy is really wanting to be your friend and have a close gay buddy at school. Have fun with it, and you never do know, friendships can blossom into something much more.
