We have a friend that starts friendships with men, because he feels a strong attraction to them, but when he realizes that those men are not attracted to him, he looses interest in the friendship.

I've felt attracted to most of my straight friends but eventually I eliminate those feelings because I know nothing is going to happen between us. And they are still my friends now. The situation with John is different, though.

And I guess you must be on your way to Mason City, right?

These days I just buy my favoriute waffles and ice cream and it's crazy good. It works with anything you want, but i like to keep it simple with chocolate or vanilla ice cream. You have to eat fast because it starts to melt, but that's not a problem because it's so damn good they are impossible to eat slowly.

Comfort food = pasta.

Never fails. Especially with a nice Chianti; sorry if this sounds too Hannibal for some of you.

As a married guy who's got his pecker on park I advise you single people on the make not to glamorize. Find out if the special person who's ringing your bell lately actually feels that you're special ...

... before you get in too deep and get your heart torn to shreds.

Savvy?

First of all:
I just want to say that I was friends first with my wife.  We worked together for a year before I thought about asking her out.  It is our friendship (that deepens by the day), that is the core of our relationship.  So don't discount the friendship, as it could ultimately grow into something more than friendship, and more than it would have been otherwise.

On Food Thoughts:

I love food, there a few that could be defined as comfort foods for me.

1) Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with Cambell's Cream of Tomatoe Soup.
Not just for me, but I feel more like a Dad when I make this for my kids...cutting off the crusts, or cutting into triangles as the girls tastes dictate.

2) Chili Dumpling Stew
Oh Lord, this is one for colder weather, but I have convinced my wife we need to eat it at least once a year.

3) Mac and Cheese
I have discovered a new mac and cheese recipe and am no longer allowed to even look at the blue box.

Odd Combos:

Peanut Butter & Ruffles:
No Jelly, and the Ruffles must be plain...oh lordy the Salty Sweetness goodness of it.

French Toast:
I slather mine with Peanut Butter (always crunchy) before adding my Syrup.

Tim Horton's is my comfort food!  A cup of coffee and a donut and everything is right in the world.
