On Monday? That's practically right now, Juan Jose. I'm sure everything will be great.

I had lunch today with John. It was great. We talked for over two hours and he was really happy with everything. He was quite surprised to see my professional wine instruments... and I guess he didn't think he would see a salad fork, a normal fork, two different kind of knives, plus the special dessert silverware. My cook did a wonderful work too. And John ate absolutely everything. Since we were talking about the origin of Caifornia's name the other day I bought him a rather expensive Californian wine, which he loved. And apparently he was dazzled by my library, near the dining room there are over two thousand science fiction and fantasy books, and he is a fan of those genres, which is great. We had such a wonderful time together. I think we could be friends after all. As long as he never mentions that awful guy he is dating. Or am I just in denial?

It sounds like you two could be great friends and well on your way to being that.
And I couldn't be happier for you!

Question for the board?
What is your favorite comfort food? Do you have any weird combo's?

My favorite comfort food is a waffle and ice cream sandwich. When i was a kid, we would go to the New Jersey shore boardwalk and get these -- they would make fresh waffles and but a brick of neopolitan ice cream between them in favorite destination town called Wildwood. These days I just buy my favoriute waffles and ice cream and it's crazy good. It works with anything you want, but i like to keep it simple with chocolate or vanilla ice cream. You have to eat fast because it starts to melt, but that's not a problem because it's so damn good they are impossible to eat slowly.

if you're to be good friends you have to take the bad as well as the good :)

confort food: 2 double cheeseburguers, 1 chocolate supersundae. If i have to make my own confort food anything goes, really. Most portuguese stuff that leaves zero room in your stomach will do! :) if in a hurry I love a fresh cheese and ham sandwich, with salt and pepper

And I couldn't be happier for you! _____________________ Well, I'm not sure if being friends is the best choice. I feel really attracted to him but I know that even if I wanted I could never make him break up with the other guy. So I guess the only alternative is to be friends, I just hope I'm not making a decission I will regret later. And by the way, I don't see anything weird about eating your sandwich with Lays. In fact, I think I've done it too at least a couple of times. And Pedro: I guess you're right. It's just that sometimes it's difficult for me to accept that he is dating this other guy ...

We have a friend that starts friendships with men, because he feels a strong attraction to them, but when he realizes that those men are not attracted to him, he looses interest in the friendship.
