So...last night we (Julie, Dylan and I) went to his pre-school to meet his new teacher. Everything went fine and we decided to mosey over to say hi to his teacher from last year, Miss Joan. Miss Joan had stopped at CVS and gotten some new bubble wands for the class because, as she said, "they were 75% off!" My wife looked at it and started to bust up, laughing...Miss Joan took a second look and said "Oh my god! I didn't even notice!" I don't think it'll be in the class room on Tuesday.

Lars, I don't think you're being approached by gays, you're being approached by serial killers!!! Seriously, those guys both sound like freaks. I think most out gay men are a little more grounded than that!F'n priceless Marc!!! I'm stealing that for my Facebook!!!

Joakim: Nobody there knows I'm gay. Only my closest friends know and they go to different colleges. I always assume everyone is straight and thus I never have problems of any kind (granted, I'm alone all the time, but that's the price I pay). Donald and Tom: I have a lot of straight friends. In fact, all my friends are straight. I'm not looking for new friends. The last thing I need is another straight friend that I have feelings for (or that I find attractive), because that has happened to me before and while it's not a catastrophe it is no fun either. If this guy is straight I honestly don't have much interest in a friendship with him. Juan Jose: Just like you and Tom said, maybe I should ask him. But I barely know him. We're just in the same class and we've talked briefly a few times. Wouldn't it be really weird to just ask him "hey, are you gay?".

Not really...Think about like asking, "Hey, do you like football?"...it's just another topic that you may find yourself having in common...
and if your not worried about developing a friendship anyway...cut to the chase..who cares what he thinks...
If he is gay it will be a relief.
Don

Donald, I think that might actually be a good idea. Now I only have to be brave enough to go ahead and do it. By the way thank you for the advices. And thanks to everyone here for being so supportive.

How was everyone's weekend??? Way to fast, and this weekend was Southern Decadence, sort of our gay Mardi Gras. A lot of fun and debauchery!I also broke down and got an iphone. I was weak, and the glitz and glamour of the apple store in the local mall got to me.

We want pictures Moyer...
Mine was very good. On Saturday, a bunch of friends organized a Barbecue to celebrate our upcoming wedding. We even got gifts, a champagne bottle to celebrate in our privacy, and a Big Frame made of silver, engraved with our initials and the date.

I'm a tutor for the foreign students at my university, so on Sunday I went to a "Get to know each other" party for the exchange students organised by the student union. On my way home from the party I came across a cute French girl who wasn't sure how to get back to her apartment, so I walked her home. I think there might be some interest from her side as well, since although I was the one who originally brought up the subject of exchanging phone numbers, it was her who reminded me about it after we'd made it back to the place she's staying at. I haven't had a date in a long time, though, so I might just be imagining things. Well, I have nothing to lose by asking her out for a cup of tea.

Juan I am so excited for you, what a wonderful time in your life. In the morning of your wedding take a second to just relax and bring a calmness to the day, let the little things fall away and absorb the big moments. Committing yourself to the one you love and want to share your whole life with, what an amazing gift you are giving each other, cherish it always.

Arc that's a tough one, does your family know? Reason I ask, Jon has a friend from high school that I always knew was gay, but he never came out, he is from a very strict catholic family and his parents would disown him. He is now out to some very, very close friends, but no one else and he is having a tough time. It breaks my heart to know he has to live his life always worried the truth will change how his family feels about him. I would like to smack some sense into his parents.
Moyer you sound like you had a GREAT weekend.
My weekend was pretty great too, we drove Jonathan to NY this weekend. We got there on Saturday spent the day getting Jon used to NY and Sunday did the same and in the evening had a wonderful visit with the Kris and Erin, (he was the kid that lived with us for a while). Jon is going to be staying with them for a while. So I was able to leave with peace of mind.
here are some pics Tile work in the subway, what beauty in a really gross place.

This cracked me up...........Hello Kitty

According to our kids this is a "Picture with our peers" Hardy Har Har
