By the way, Juan Jose, you should know that, according to US law, by posting an invite like that on a public forum, you have just formally invited all of us.
Time to dust off my powder blue tuxedo!
You gonna have a bachelor party with strippers?

Bachelor party...like in "In & Out"..in a bar singing Barbra's songs like "Funny Girl"!
We haven't made plans for a bachelor party...
If i'm nervious???...nope, i love that man!
But i had a moment of realization. We had to notarize our signiatures in the American Embassy (for our Marriage License application), when i was about to sign it, i realized that...that was the moment...that was real...smiled...and signed.
I'll get nervious...in it's moment!

This move will not be funded by mom and dad, so this will be scary and exciting at the same time, but it time for him to be all grown up. ***** You're doing Jonathan a great service, Jodi! The lessons he'll learn will be all of his own making. Great. Best of luck!

First day of school today -- well, teachers went back today. We get kids next Monday. Gotta tell you, I normally HATE this day. We have meetings, meetings, meetings... But today, our principal was smart enough to say, "Take the day and work in your classrooms." Completely changed the tone of the day -- just lovely. Saying hi to everyone, catching up with other members of the faculty and organizing my room -- was very nice.

First, Juan I LOVE your invitations. I have to say I am pretty excited for you, this is such a big moment in your life. You did a great job on the invitation.
Thanks everyone for all the well wishes for Jonathan, I had him come on here and read them all, it mean a lot to him. The kid is walking on air, here is his twitter post after he found out:
AVENGERS ASSEMBLE! @Marvel Comics called today and offered me the internship. You're looking at the newest @Marvel intern! When he came back for his graduation his girlfriend of 3 years decided she wanted to break up 3 days before graduation, needless to say it crushed him and kind of took the wind out his sails. He had been staying around here hoping she would change her mind. Well this internship was the answer. He is such a sharp kid, I hated to see him stalling out here, like a love sick puppy. But Marvel was just what he needed. He is a different guy now, back to the excited about life Jonathan I know.
Juan's marriage is moving closer, Tom had a great first day, Mr Byrne did an amazing Two Face commission, John will be working for Marvel.
Today is indeed a great day!

those internships can lead to amazing things. And NYC is one of the best cities in the world in which to live! _______________________ I agree with you. Jodi you must be proud.

So what will he be doing at Marvel exactly? And and internship, is he really working for free? I mean, it is Marvel, despite how it might have fallen out of favor with a lot of us, it is still really cool!

Jodi: Congratulations to Jon on his internship. I lived in Manhattan for a year and change while in law school -- it was the best thing I ever did, really loved it, still miss it. Tell Jon not to fret over his girlfriend -- he won't miss her when he see what the city has to offer (seriously, I had a great, great year in those Pre-K days . . . . ah to be young!). Juan, beautiful invites, best wishes. May you love each other enough to be kind when you hate each other; may you respect each other enough to allow trust; may you laugh during the hard times and cry during the good times; and if you welcome children into your marriage may they know only happiness, love and freedom.
