Well, I think I'll survive... hopefully.  ;)

Yes.  Cautiously though.  A little bit afeared that they'll miss the mark or something.
Love Sendak's book and the two other in his little trilogy.

It's not too late yet, Marc.

Don't know if I'd agree on the repulsive bit. I find it just a tad too abstract to be repulsive.

Oh, and congrats to Donalyn, Don. Haven't had a chance to listen to the interview yet, but linked it on FB nevertheless (the last one was good enough for me to feel it worthy of spreading the word about).

For those who didn't know about the changes, and would have liked to next time, go to Settings, pick E-mail Notification Subscriptions, and choose the first one. Its called "Announcements", and will set you up to receive updates whenever Jeff is getting ready to do something crazy.

Like shutting down the Forum for a few hours. Talk about serious withdrawal.

Fortunately, we all had Facebook, so figured out what was going on!

Weather is perfect here in Muncie today, how is it in your neck of the woods?

Pretty damn nice considering the south! Low low humidity and in the mid 80s here. That's like fall to us.

With thunderstorms and humidity this weekend, it was refreshing to wake up to a cool morning.  I left my windows open to get some fresh air in my apartment while I'm at work.

Hot but not as bad as it was last week.  Last week was uncivilized and then we had an awful storm that destroyed a lot of trees in Central Park and Riverside Drive.

This summer has been great we had so few 90's days, I think I have become spoiled.

Jonathan just found out today he got an internship with Marvel in NY city, he is moving in 2 weeks. He and his girlfriend broke up and he decided since he was at a crossroads he was going to try to work in the field he loved. He is also going to work writing copy for a TV ad company, but that would be only part time. The internship will also be only part time, so he and Kris (kid that lived with us) are going to do side jobs to make ends meet. This move will not be funded by mom and dad, so this will be scary and exciting at the same time, but it time for him to be all grown up.
