Arc a friend of my sons wants to be a comic book writer and he does short stories and I believe he is going thru Amazon offering his stories for the Kindle. I don't believe at this point he gets paid, for him it is about getting his name out there. I'll see if I can find out more about how to do it.

Apparantly the Obama administration filed papers challenging the Defense of Marriage Act, stating that it is "unfair".  Yet, the article mentions that the Justice Departmet will rigoursly defend the statute.  Seems a bit odd to be both for and against something at the same time.  Maybe I'm reading it wrong.

Defending laws as they are challenged is an important part of the process. It
is the test by which it can be determined if a change is worthy.

I think President Obama's trying deliberately to restore a sense of process that we lost in the Bush years.  No more Unitary Executive.  No more signing statements that contradict the bill being signed.  No more "Imma Wartime Preznit."  I applaud that.  It was the one thing I liked about Ron Paul.

I think history will reflect most of Obama's obstacles as president to be a direct result of the idiocy that immediately preceded him.  It's tremendous insulation from criticism, but will it prevent him from being bolder?

He's French-Canadian.  It's not even his real voice as he has a heavy accent.

His real name is Eric Violette.

I prefer the dark-haired friend in the ads with the beard.  He's hot.

Yes, that's why I'm InfoEd.

Well, I married my dream girl
I married my dream girl
But she didn't tell me her credit was bad
So now instead of living in a pleasant suburb,
We're living in the basement at her mom and dad's.
No we can't get a home or a respectable loan,
Just because my wife defaulted on some old credit cards
But if we'd gone to Free Credit Report Dot Com
I'd be a happy camper (bachelor?) with a dog and a yard.
