know who else is hot? I only knew him from battlestar galactica as a very supporting character that showed up a couple of times (especially in the pilot) but he's shown up a lot apparently, most recenty in Defying Gravity and the terrible Impact:

Ty Olsson

This guy is hot! :] (and I know he won't please everybody but he sure pleases me!)

I got my wife to read comics and she let's me keep them all over the place. Nyah!

Now my ex wife hated them, so it is a nice change of pace.

Well, the good news is Jodi owes me $5.  The bad news is: Al's not dead.

No.  He's tolerant, tho.  He allows me one shelf in the bathroom and I have my "Byrne Box" in the guest room.  He's tried to read particular things, but says the page confuses him -- he doesn't know how to read it.

Important thing is that he has tried to read comics.

I know a lot of people that have some interest in comics but they don't really care about the super hero genre.

I took my partner to Seattle comic-con this year, and while he doesn't seem
to have much interest in superhero genre beyond the movies, he has
developed an interest in in non-superhero titles.

That's especially nice since Fantagraphics is located here, and they have
quite a few titles that suit both of our tastes.

I have tons of trades of comic strips, too -- DOONESBURY, CALVIN & HOBBES, FAR SIDE, PEANUTS, BLOOM COUNTY -- but Eric doesn't read any of those, either.  A whole bookshelves in our library is dedicated to my many different comic strip books.  Didn't realize it till the other day.

Man, I am dying to get my hands on IDW's Bloom County collection.  Gonna be some sweet sweet nostalgia there.

Arc nice drawing, it reminds me of an illustration in a book, because it makes me want to know more about what is going on in the picture.

Man I love Half Price Books, my son got the Wolverine Omnibus in excellent condition for 20 dollars it goes for 59  used on Amazon. Kevin do you check there for the Bloom County collection?

Chuck has zero interest in comics which is sad, but he loves going on 50 mile bike rides which I would never do so I can't complain. I think it is good to have some separate interests, it's only bad when the other person won't tolerate the differences.
