I don't mind that you posted it Kevin! This might be the same story that
Ellen DeGeneres broke down about a few weeks ago on her show. It was one
of the few times she talked about her sexuality!

Jodi. To answer your question, I will just mention that I met my wife and ask her to marry me the first night we met. It was the night of Christmas 95. And she answered "yes but not right away". It was in Hong Kong and I was just a French tourist at that time.
So yes, I believe in love at first sight

Even though Eric and I chatted online for a couple of weeks before we met, I knew from the moment he stepped out of his car in the parking lot of my apartment.
(Interestingly, we "met" on a m4m site that's mostly used by guys "looking for NOW," both of us complaining about the quality of men one meets on a site like that...)

Definitely do not believe in love at first site. LUST at first site yes... and I
think if there's a spark there it can develop into something more.
I've been with my BF for about 8 years now, but just officially moved in
with him when we tried to move last December. I now live with him in his
tiny townehome (with his mother). That was probably one of the biggest
reasons we didn't live together... pretty much no room for my stuff, and
living with his mother! Ugh... but it's working out okay after selling half
my apt, and a couple of ups and downs.
I've known him even longer though, since about 1996 when I bartended
at a bar down here. He pursued me, and was the nicest guy. I don't know
that I was super attracted, but after dating around, and seeing all the
trash that NOLA had to offer, and finding a nice normal dude, that had a
ton of personality... it just fit really well. I'm probably a little jaded now
that we've been together so long, but he's still a great guy (needs to work
on that belly though).

The night we met, my partner was dragged into a disco-bar by a friend of his. I was dragged into the same place by my sister and his best friend (and no, my sister is straight). Both of us has a previous disappointment with other men, and it wasn't on our plans to meet anyone that night. We noticed each other and started flirting with one another for almost an hour....
...now we almost gonna be two years together and live together for almost a year. It's been so wonderful.

I love coming online and seeing activity in this thread! It makes me so happy... (if only we can beat out the 180 or so pages of the "presidential" thread...)
I'm in the middle of rehearsals right now and it's a lot of activity after six or seven weeks of NOTHING! Phew...
