It's FREEZING in SF right now. Of course, my body was acclimated to the super-heated DC weather. But the irony of parts of CA suffering through an incredible heat wave while I'm in a sweatshirt and knit cap cracks me up!
We're going to the Redwood Forest this morning, then NAPA valley this afternoon.

When did you know that Eric was "The One"?
The moment we met. Of course, I waited a good three months before I popped the question. LOL. We were camping in the Shenandoah Valley, sitting on a butte overlooking the entire forest, drinking red wine from my Camelbak and I asked him. Now, it might have been the altitude or the wine, but I'm glad I did.

I am so excited for you the redwood forest is one place I want to go before I die.
Have a continued great time on your trip Tom.
Also thanks to Al and Marc for having my back on the racism thread. All of you guys on this thread are the best! And yes even though he is gone he is never forgotten, our Mr Talley.

Here's some more SF pics from our little jaunt today to Sausilido and climbing Mt. Tam.

Ironic that the city is a refridgerator and Mt. Tam was a sweaty 80 some-odd degrees...

Hot Damn!!! you two are hot!
Today we took the first step towards marriage. We went to the US
Embassy here in Mexico City. A good friend of ours works there and
helped us get our signatures notarized on our solicit of "Marriage
License" sheet.

Same here, Arc. Some friends of mine offered to take up a collection and send me to Las Vegas. Seemed funny and also sad if I had to resort to such measures.

Going back to another question, I think is becoming real easy to be gay in Mexico City. People is becoming more open and friendly. I've been out since 1999 in all the aspects of my life, and I have not received a single wrong look.

Mark Twain: "The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer in San Francisco."
And here I am with a mild case of heatstroke. Man, that is not pleasant at all. Headache, dizzyness, musclecramps, nauseous, not much fun to have on the first truly hot weekend of the summer. Walked outside on Saturday morning and felt like I'd been punched in the back of the neck.
Damn my Swedish four bears! Damn them. Though alternatively they're probably the reason I used to walk to work for an hour in minus fifty weather in a thin jacket and jeans and stay pretty comfortable.
