Congrats Juan! Good news indeed. :)
As for Marc's question on the whole body thing. I've been moving from a skinny very young kid to a chubby child during most of my school years, really slimming down as I hit secondary high and my current height more or less simultaneously, and then been moving up and down with a low point of about 70 kilograms and a high point of 115 kilograms (all on the same rough 185 or so cm). What with my having rather heavy bone structure, I can easily say that the 70 kg version had a wee bit of concentration camp leanings to it, and I am probably at my best between say 75 kg and 85 kg. Sadly, it's been quite a while since I was under the 100 kg limit, and I'm closer to my top weight than my bottom weight by far. So... I'm guessing, weight at this point should be something I ought to deal with, not so much out of concern for looks as for health (heck I've got coronaries running in the family). Still... now I'm just rambling in a displeased fashion. Will be quiet now.

Moyer,
My wife did visit New Orleans for a National Principals Conference. She was a speaker at the conference and made an appearance on a local AM show there. The Hostess knew next to nothing. It was that trip that made her decide I should go with her on this jaunt as she gets lonely without me.
Sadly I believe I am the personal assistant for these trips..I, of course, work free...and give what I can only imagine would be considered much more thorough "Back Rubs".

Ha... I'll leave the imagining to you!
I'm not surprised the hostess knew next to nothing. Does she recall which
station she was on? My guess is WWL.

I believe it was WGNO.
It was ok..but one of those 4 min segments...Her Radio show appearances are usually much better lasting 30-45 minutes...this allows her to really get going about her teaching philosophy.

Pedro, that's wonderful. I always feel like I can't be careful enough with my diet.

Pedro, you look as thin as you did when you were younger (judging from the pix you posted on Facebook.)
I have always felt that I had no use for the big body I am in and think it would have been put to better use by my brother. I joke that I am a small guy trapped in a big guy's body.

Congratulations, Juan! Still amusing that Iowa has their eyes open and California, well...

Thanks Everyone!
It's so nice to know that people are thinking about you and that they have you in such high regards. As of today, we have dropped the good news to our families and we have had a great response and support. Friends of my partner have been researching about the topic and have great disposition to helps us.
But really, there's so much data about it. I think that the only problem that i'm gonna have is to convince the US Gov that moving into USA is the least of my priorities (well, at least not yet, but that's another topic). We have a great life here in Mexico City. We want to marry in Iowa, because that way, we can keep it to ourselves.
At the end, i don't need a marriage certificate to tell my partner how much i love him.
Also, we want a modest ceremony, and exchange of rings, a blessing and afterwards, a wine and cheese reunion....then to get back to Mexico and share it with the rest of the family and friend....
I'll drop more news as things develop here....but it's nice to know that you are there...Thanks!
