I just saw the joke there and had to say something.  I mean look at them with their nice, clean clothes, retro pants and funky shoes!

But Christ those actors inside must have been par boiled by that point.

LOL OK now that is funny, I love it. And Brian that kid is a cutie pie, his smile melts your heart.

Geoff yes they eventually went after him for prejury, but they didn't just one day charge him with that. We were in a good place, he was a good president and they were more concerned about gaining power and bringing down Clinton. First it was Whitewater and eventually it got around to Clintons sex life. During Clinton's administration it is the very first President that was attacked in a relentless vicious way, it showed some republicans were more concerned about being in power than wanting this country to be strong. To me, it was the beginning of the end, of the Grand Old Party .

Yes, Jodi I love roller coasters

Even reading this gives me the heebie jeebies, I wish I was able to get over this fear.

Question for the board: What is one thing that you all hated, but overcame your fear and started liking it?

Jodi, you know I think Clinton did some good things as president. Heck, I'll go as far as to say he's the second-best president of my lifetime.

But I found the Lewinsky deal troubling, and not just because Clinton was cheating on his wife (which I certainly don't approve of under any circumstances). He was having an affair with a subordinate in her early 20s. This wasn't a relationship of equals - he used his position of power to prey upon a woman young enough to be his daughter. If a college professor had a similar relationship with a student, he would be fired on the spot.

Had he been fooling around with some high-powered Washington lawyer, it still would've been wrong, but it wouldn't have been as wrong. I thought he was a predator in this situation.

On a happier note, I love when Brian posts photos of the little guy. It looks like everyone had a great time at Busch Gardens.

I can do some roller coasters. But I hate the ones where you go upside down. My wife is much more brave about such things.

Brian:

Why didn't Michael introduce his PawPaw to that comely beer wench from the previous page?

She showed him her thong.  Dude, that's presenting.  I'll reserve my sympathy for Hillary and Chelsea.

Bruce I am going to have to agree with Kevin, this was a 20 year old woman not a 16 year old teenager. Monica pursued Clinton sexually. Which to me is NOOB (None of Our Business). This case wasn't about a molestor old guy going after a underage kid. Monica had no problem with being the slut in this case. Do I respect Clinton for having an affair, no, but this whole thing was brought about by the witchhunt the far right had going with Clinton.

Now if you said Clinton was saying "if you don't have sex with me you will lose your job", that would be different. But come on, this girl was so proud of this, she kept a dress with cum on it and bragged to Linda Tripp, who by the way was taping this all.

This should have NEVER been brought out and guys like the S.C. Gov is what is wrong with the Repulicans right now and that is, they push their "moral" authority on people and they are jokes and just using morals as a way to bash democrats and keeping people they don't like, from having the same rights they have. I get ill thinking of what Ken Starr cost the taxpayers. The whole Clinton witchhunt was so expensive and all the while they are yelling they are the party that spends our tax dollars wisely.

Was Clinton wrong for lying under oath, yes he was and that is why not only republicans, but dems alike voted for impeachment.

Clinton being impeached for lying (perjury) during a CIVIL suit, involving
SEX BETWEEN CONSENTING ADULTS, was not what the founders meant by
High Crimes and Misdemeanors. No one will EVER convince me
otherwise.

I know the Impeachment of Bill Clinton by the House was all about
wounding a popular 2-term president temporarily weakened by a sex
scandal. There was no other way to "get" him. They even knew the
Senate would never ever convict, and didn't, falling ridiculously short of
the Constitution's 2/3 requirement, but they did it anyway. In fact, not a
single article of impeachment garnered even a SIMPLE majority of the
Senate to convict Clinton, giving him not just a Constitutional acquittal,
but a bit of a moral victory on top of it.

With much affection and respect, Geoff's "only if he committed perjury"
retort -- it was an overly-technical and legalistic -- and frankly as far as
the American people and history are concerned, bastardized answer. I
think we all know it was about CLINTON personally, and THE SEX.

See what a good grandpa Brian is, he is so in love with that little guy he didn't even notice the hot beer wench. Which knowing Brian, hot girl carrying beer, would normally be like, catnip to a cat, to him. :0)
