Just remember, buy from reputable orpahn dealers.....none of that back
alley stuff. And for chrissakes, don't buy one that has been slabbed. After
all, you want to be able to play with him.

That is unquestionably the funniest thing I've read in almost 17 days.

Geez. A month of this thread. Aren't you guys divorced yet?

LOL OK  that was funny.

they'll cause the price of children to go up?

Tom this reminded me of the scene from The Blues Brothers when John Belushi's character was in the expensive restaurant and looked at this rich stuffy man with his family and said:

"The little girl, your daughters... sell them to me. Sell me your children.”

Yikes! The word abomination leaps to mind (and that's not even the non-meat eater in me talking). The combination sounds unsavoury and the size of that burger (I want to say meatball) not mention the donuts would make me REALLY uncertain as to where to dig in on such a piece.

Gay adoption... sheesh!"

Oh, I think a lot of you guys are well behaved enough that I could easily adopt you. And the benefits and all... no changing diapers or potty training. I think there could definitrely be a market for gay adoption, Tom. ;)
Or was it only single gays you were against adopting? Married couples ok?

Oh don't worry. There's always ways to get rid of parents, and if all comes to worse that leaves us options to flood the market with orphans. That should get the price range down a bit again, methinks. If all comes to worse.
And while we're at it we could open a chain... anyone know if the name "Kids R Us" is taken?

Just board and bag them.

"Dental plan!"
"Lisa needs braces!"

<someone drops pencil in the crack of my ass>

Oh, great!  Now I've lost my train of thought!   Wait... I remember...
"Dental plan!"
"Lisa needs braces!"

The smartest thing to do is buy one to play with and one to keep safe in a mylar bag for later.

Well, some good
news from the
state of Massachusetts.

Good ol' Mitt Romney, going out of his way to enforce a nearly century-old law just because he didn't have the power to stop gay marriage in the first place!

I'm surprised he wasn't for prohibition, too.  There's gotta be SOME law someone forgot to strike down that he can use to support his foolish views.

Eric and I spoke of this the other day, wondering if we shouldn't go to Massachusetts for a couple of days -- no reason.

"An analysis by the state Office of Housing and Economic Development found repealing the law would draw thousands of couples to Massachusetts, boosting the economy by $111 million, creating 330 jobs and generating $5 million in taxes and fees over three years."

 Mitt Romney is an ass.

And there it is again, Jodi -- Geoff's point a while ago upthread, too, I believe.  Eventually, simple economics will win the day.  All our "disposable income" will ultimately feed the economy of whatever state allows us marriage.

Seriously, do you have any idea how much "fabulous" costs?

It is impossibly expensive.  It is one of the things that keeps me from being gay.  Well, that and not wanting to have sex with men and loving my wife.  Other than those hang ups though . . . .

To the true point of Tom's post --- money is a GREAT equalizer in a capitalist society.

This is the thing that REALLY separates me from the "main-stream" gays -- I have no interest in fashion, skin care regimens, or this week's hot scent.  You should see the looks I get when I walk into a bar wearing non-designer jeans, a ratty ol' t-shirt and a ball cap.  It's like Invasion of the Body Snatchers where they all raise their hands, point and shriek!
