Could I paint myself blue like the Celts though?

Joakim this will be fine.

Because when you are trying to kill the bug, you are in one of the most vulnerable states possible, naked among other unmentionable personal thing. Ughghgh!!!

LOL

I have some good news to share before Toms big news, they announced today that the film my son directed got into the Indianapolis International Film Festival.

Thanks all, I know this isn't one of the big festivals but this is the first year, one of the Ball State HD films got in. He will now be able to send it in for a chance at a student Academy Award.

The mistake was eating a hot dog with ketchup.  Thats just plain wrong.  And I thought it was against the law in the five boroughs . . . .

Geoff, even more disturbing is that I am having "Hamburger Helper" for dinner tonight.  I can cook but am able to afford less and less.  It's easier to do preapred meals than buy all the ingredients.

I love this economy.

Jodi, just make sure he doesn't announce that he is only for "opposite marriage" while he's still in the running.

That can kill a contestant's chance!

Aw, Hamburger Helper ain't so bad, Ed. When I was growing up, my family ate it about once a week.

But I know what you mean about the economy. It definitely forces you to think about where you are spending money and how you can cut back. Over the weekend, my wife and I inventoried all the food in our pantry. We are going to try to skip going to the grocery store this week (other than for fresh items like produce and milk) and just eat up some things we already have.

At some level, I think the down economy is having some positive effects on our society. It's making us think more about what we use and how we spend our money.

Well my big news is that I'm working on getting a house. Still in the negotiations with the owners and agents and banks. Have to be careful with money. First time I've really paid attention when buying food. I only buy what I need and have cut out my habit of getting home with a lot of stuff I didn't go out for.

In the classic National Lampoon's Vacation Cousin Eddie opines that:

"I don't know why they call this stuff Hamburger Helper. It does just fine by itself, huh?"

When I lived in the City I lived on a fair amount of Hamburger Helper, Kraft Mac & Cheese and hot dogs.
