Coming out turned out to not be such a big deal for me.
---------------------

For me it was a big deal. I never had a hard time being gay but it sure was great having friends to talk to about it! And later it was even better having gay friends that knew exactly how i felt :)

Ditto, Pedro!

I struggled for years wanting to come out and being Catholic and coming of age during the AIDS crisis was a nightmare.  I hit the ground running as soon as I got to college.

Near the edge of insanity.  Been spending the day sorting through all work mail and trying to salvage them from my old work computer (a Mac) onto my PC.  With varying degrees of success.  Some stuff comes across just fine, other has some messed up letter/sign substitution (in particular for Swedish letters), others still have all the text embedded in a ton of coding (that's actually printed into the mail as text) and others beyond just come across more or less empty.  Maddening, I tell ya!  Maddening!

But I'll return to the madness on Monday.  Now, weekend!

My weekend will be quiet. It's my sister's birthday and gonna celebrate her.

Next weekend is Pride Day. Last year i went with some friends, and everything was great, until some idiot came and tried to show off many things that he lacks due to his endless list of insecurities.

This year, a couple of friends will come and pick us. We'll travel by motorcycle to a forest section outside of the city. We'll go to a mass in the forest to remember a lost friend and later to have lunch in "Tres Marias", a tiny town know by his "quesadillas" and "tacos".

It's DC Pride this weekend (and I don't have a THING to wear!) but Eric's nephew is also graduating from high school.  So, we're doing his party sat afternoon, going out sat night, then the downtown street stuff on sunday.

Speaking of things unexpected brewing, I may have a new writing job to talk about.  "Doing lunch" on Monday!

A gay man in talks to do more theatre.  I AM SO DAMN TIRED OF THESE STEROTYPICAL HOMOS RUINING LIFE FOR THE REST OF US!

I'm headed to a gay, go-go strip bar.  I need a drink.
