I caught all the old Mr. Bill sketches way back in the early 90s when Comedy
Central was just known as "C" the comedy channel. They played his skits ad
odd times, between shows.

What?!??!   I need to grow up to see it???  ;)
Seriously though.  Will keep an eye out for it, Don.

Came to it late, but YES.  Harryhausen knew what he was doing.

And Ed, for the record, you got me so excited about the last bit there that I'd posted spontaneously directly after writing that bit of response...  entirely forgetting my compiling nature.
(Luckily there was nothing in between I felt the need to comment upon... but still.  Though you might get a kick out of it though, thus posting the remark.)  ;)

Cynical, a little angry, and worried.  All very uncharacteristic for me!  Otherwise, I'm swell!

bored at work. This week we've had two holidays here (wednesday and thursday) and tomorrow is also local holiday in Lisbon (saint Anthony) (unfortunately a saturday) and there's huge partying all over the city's old neighbourhoods. Needless to say most everybody took the rest of the week off from work (there were only 4 of us here in the office all day).

And tomorrow, of course, is hangover day!

I might attend the San Jose Pride this weekend. Anyone else regularly attend Pride?

Peter, I gradually got out of the habit of going to Pride.  The last one I went to was 2006 and before that was 2003.  One deterrent for me was that it was the same every year, no matter what city it was in.  Dykes on Bikes! *clap clap clap* Hot male go-go boys! *clap clap clap* Gay Citigroup Bankers! *crickets*

So I don't feel badly when I skip a few years here and there.  Plus, all the vodka ads and RentBoy.com floats are a downer for me.
