Ah...bologna!...Here in Mexico is know as "mortadella".
Funny, my partner tells me that he used to have that as a kid everyday, and hates it!

I honestly haven't had bologna in years! It's just pieces and parts... it really
grosses me out. Hot Dogs and Sausage do too, but every now and then I
gotta have some sausage! (insert tasteless joke here)

Thanks guys! I seem to recall, vaguely, microwaving bologna and getting a similar curled edges effect. Frying, I didn't realize you meant it so literally. Interesting.
And yes, Moyer, you do have IMPRESSIVE, powerful legs.

In another political (but not unrelated) thread, I tried to explain and make amends to Geoff for my past harsh comments re: the Matthew Shepard Anniversary thread. I am very sick today and didn't go into too much detail over there, but I bet Geoff could read between the lines. He has already indicated in this thread that he is open to being friends again, in fact, he never really did say anything in the past to make me think otherwise.
However Tom's silence re: my posts makes me think he is not so amenable to burying the hatchet. If so, I respect that and will live with it. However, the question that lingers is if Tom is not open to my apologies and promises to try harder to not be so unfair, emotional, reactionary at times, then should I simply vacate this thread and not bug you guys? I really don't know what to do, I do know that when I post and seem to be ignored it kinda hurts. Much as my words probably hurt Geoff some time back... oh well, what goes around. It's just my turn this time.

Juan Jose, in the US (at least) mortadella is a different type of bologna. It has pockets of fat in it. Sounds gross but Italians swear by it.

Holy crap, guys-- you' re speaking my language with the fried bologna! LOVE it fried with mustard in italian bread. MMMMMMM......craving it now....
Fried mortadella is also molto delizioso, especially the kind with pistachios in it.

Marc, of course I have no idea what transpired between you and the others,
but don't feel ignored!
I think there are several times where we all overlook, or forget to comment
on topics we've brought up. I've done that too many times to count,
especially when the convo gets off on a tangent I don't really know anything
about.
I think you're a bit over-sensitive buddy. Here, have a pill, eat a fried
bologna sandwich, have a glass of lemonade and relax!

Moyer,
You're right, I can be a bit overly-sensitive. Bad hold-over from childhood. But, unfortunately, I don't respect the fact that I can be overly-INSENSITIVE too. One is not an excuse for the other.
But since YOU hold no grudges, we really must "bond" sometime! (smile)
