I loved the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Super Mario Bros Super Show, the various Disney Afternoon series like Duck Tales or Darkwing Duck.

And I still watch cartoons. Batman: The Brave and the Bold is a great series, and my little brother and I enjoy watching it together. It's not at all like Batman: the Animated Series from the 90s (which I also adored), but still entertaining and fun. Batman contains multitudes.

I just made the mistake of looking at your profile, Peter.  You're so young!  We must sound so old talking about our 70s memories. :)

Ohhh, I really dug the He-Man toys when I was a kid.  GI Joe, too.

Thinking about it, in order, my toy loves as a kid were Star Wars, then He-Man, then GI Joe, then I lost interest.

Good times tho'.

My folks never bought us the Star Wars figures (from Kenner) as they were "too expensive."

I had a ton of Star Wars figures. My mom worked at Sears so I got the Sears exclusive Cantina playset with the large blue Snaggletooth. They let employees put catalog orders in a couple of weeks before the public.  Still have it.

Man, I used to wait all year for the Sears Holiday catalog. I'd spend hours looking at all the toys.

Love Spongebob, Jimmy Neutron, Tom and Jerry, Ren and Stimpy, Bugs, Daffy, 60s FF and Spider-Man, Flintstones, and I think that Fairly OddParents is one of the funiest things on TV. And I agree..if it's available to you, get Boomerang for Jonny Quest, Herculoids, and of course, Justice League Unlimited (the Cadmus stuff is superb). Why they don't show the Justice League series that preceeded JLU is a mystery to me.

I've caught a few episodes of "The Brave and the Bold" and find it rather fun.

I used to have all the old Kenner Star Wars figures... I remember having the Death Star playstations - - I loved that thing! Those figures were so much fun!

Peter you mentioned all the cartoons Jonathan (my oldest) loved and I got to enjoy, we also loved Inspector Gadget, Duck Tales, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers and David the Gnome. Still best kids show is Pee Wee's Playhouse, I know it isn't a cartoon but dang it was so good!

Mr. T is in the bin with Chuck Norris: Karate Kommandos, Turbo Teen, Rubik the Amazing Cube, ProStars, Fonz & the Happy Days Gang, and Rambo and the Forces of Freedom.
