I wanna see Star Trek SO badly!!  Maybe I can treat Tom and Geoff to express my respect and friendship!!!  Ummmm... that might look bad to their other halves, not to mention my deep sense of morals and decency. (smile)

My wife will be out of town this weekend on a business trip, so I plan to see Star Trek while she's away.

After subjecting her to Star Trek: Nemesis a few years back, she's convinced that's what Trek is all about. To this day, she'll say, "Remember when you dragged me to that awful movie?" And there's nothing I can say - it was an awful movie!

I never saw Star Trek: Nemesis, but I think I have pretty much enjoyed all the
Trek movies. I was never a huge Trek...um...er though, so I had nothing to
nitpick or compare it too.

Star Trek was a completely fun movie to watch, I would consider myself not a hardcore Trek fan, I watched all the old TV shows as repeats a thousand times as a kid and loved them. Watched all the Trek movies except Nemesis. I am a Star Wars girl, I walked out of Star Trek wishing Lucas had made as good a movie, when he killed the fun, by making the SW prequels.

I will say this, the new Kirk is packin in the groin department and he is sooooooo cute!

Bruce I can relate, I ruined movies for Chuck by taking him to see the first Hulk movie. Actually he never was a movie fan, but that completely sealed the deal. Now everytime I say "Let's go to the movie" he says "It isn't going to be as bad as the Hulk is it?"

Chuck hating movies is the hardest thing for me, I LOVE movies and he can barely tolerate them. I love that man, but if I could change one thing about him, that would be it. And if that's his worst, I am pretty lucky.

Oh, I love movies too.  I admit that if I really love a movie and a friend isn't taken by it, I sometimes think less of them.   My DVD collection is way too large.

And it's usually movies that can get me to cry, not much else.
