...it would allow people to marry ducks.

There goes O'Reilly, being all racist again -- just because ducks are dark meat...

Hey peeps! Hope ya'll had a good Memorial Day weekend, ya'll been busy on
these pages! I went to the 'rents in TN and had a long relaxing weekend.
Time to start my new diet! I pigged out every day on Miss Sylvia's BBQ and
good country cookin'.

Bummer on the CA thing, it's a very odd compromise to say the least. Sort
of like, well, we hate that you got married, but we're going to let it slide this
one time...

Joakim Jahlmar: I've avoided romantic on line interactions ever since... I know I've had problems with guys in real life, but at least to have  someone next to you is a good thing in itself, there is nothing the Internet can do to supply that.

Meanwhile, I'm alone. I'm used to it.

Geesh, could O'Reilly be any more dense?

Let's say his argument was actually valid (hold on, I have to stop laughing first) animals can't sign a marriage license so it'd be invalid.  At most, it'd be common law :-P.

All kidding aside, it's pathetic when some people can be so oblivious and narrow-minded.

What bugs me about O'Reilly is that my folks listen to him and believe everything he says.  It's very frustrating.

Where's Jodi when you need her?

Personally I'd never marry a duck. Now a pig, that's a whole 'nother story. Just love that curly tail. Yowza!

I just don't see how it'd ruin other people's marriages if gays were allowed to marry.

Plus all this fear that churches will HAVE to marry gays is a lie.  No church has to marry anyone if they don't want to.  My mom recently got remarried but hadn't been to church in awhile because she has to work on Sundays (that whole needing food and paying bills got in the way) and there is a new minister at our old church.  He refused to marry her because she didn't attend regularly.

So churches can still keep their discrimination up on everyone, so they need not fear about being forced to marry gays.
