Thanks, Geoff!  Marc and Rachel are both cops (though she's being "promoted" to detective and coming off the line of fire).  They're first born (my godson) is about to turn two, so they just got used to a regular sleep schedule again.  They both sounded totally exhausted when I spoke with them last night.

Tom you need us to continue the species and we need the gays to remodel historic homes, create new fashions, push the boundries of art, and for broadway entertainment ("Keep, it sassy, keep flashy, keep it gay").  I admit the gay contribution is more important but we breeders are trying to hold up our end!

Seriously, though as for sleep -- I do miss it but its worth it!  I still think, Tom, that you will end up a parent.  You just strike me as the kind of guy who would like being a Dad.  Obviously, only time will tell, but you seem the sort. 

Two things that I can think of and neither are a big deal.

Being a newlywed is so cute, wait about 2 years those little quirks become weapons in a fight. "Fuck you , you flak eating bastard!" LOL

I see Aylssa Faith being very spoiled by her two uncles in DC.

I am not kidding! Where I live in NJ many neighbourhoods have historic or older homes (75 to 150 years old).  The homes are often diamonds in the rough but have attracted a large segment of the gay community because we're minutes from NYC by train and the towns are upscale and pretty progressive and tolerant.  The community has done heroic jobs restoring these homes to their glory.  The upside is the property values skyrocket.  Accordignly, I joke with my wife that I want our neighborhood to become a GEZ -- a Gay Enterprise Zone!

I often wonder how many people who are opposed to gay marriage or other gay rights issues actually know anyone who is gay.
