Speaking of nice people, I haven't seen much of Talley or Al, I hope they are all right.

I'm right here, dear lady.

Working a part time job as well these days, and it's cut into my "free" time considerably. I'm still around, just not posting as much.

I hope everyone is doing well. The story about Eric lunching with the Prez is absolutely incredible. I would have probably soiled myself or something wonderfully creative like that.

Yes, that's my man!

Ok, I thought that would be him (judging by previous photos I’d seen), but the image was just a li’l bit too fuzzy to be sure.

And MAINE just approves same-sex marriage!

Yeay!

Tom, did you read how Marion Barry said that there would be a ‘Civil War’ if D.C. legalizes gay marriage?

Have to ‘fess I don’t know who Barry is, but it’s nice to know that there are still Americans around willing to start war against their own nation if it tries to provide civil liberties and equalities for its citizens in pursuit of happiness.  Always nice when people seems to grasp the underlying notion of what America was supposed to be, and arguably CAN be. *sigh*

A friend to the gay community?  Just how, exactly, Marion?  By having a girl's name?”

You just know that good ole Robin of the Hood has been giving it to him till he quivered.  ;)
And if so wouldn’t he have felt truly shafted I wonder?

(set phasers to pun)

Bitter, yes.  Cheap, no.  Its a diamond encrusted gravy boat.  It says ‘Al & Tal 4 Ever’ in white gold.

Gee!  Now I feel cheap.  All I got ‘em was super sized pack of rubbers...  I mean ah loves A & T as much as the next guy, but there needs be precautions least that union somehow spawns.  ;)

Joakim, Marion Barry is the former mayor of Washington, D.C., who went to prison after investigators caught him smoking crack cocaine on a hidden camera video. He's also apparently failed to pay his taxes for something like the past 10 years, and he's in some legal hot water for that. But for some reason, voters in his district have put him back on the D.C. City Council.

I think they are in Maine.

That explains the TMZ story about George Lucas having a gay wedding.

But for some reason, voters in his district have put him back on the D.C. City Council.

His ward is highly-impoverished and he has thrown himself at the religious community in that ward, playing on the people's disenfranchised feelings.  They look at him as a martyr, as crazy as that sounds, and how he's been persecuted by "the man."  (Forgetting that he himself was that man for years.)

Diamond-encrusted gravy boat? Damn you, Geoff Gibson!
I only got the Sterling silver Bender-head salt-and-pepper shakers.

And I forgot to get them inscribed.

You're going to have to get married, first, Moyer. And if you're having trouble finding that certain someone in New Orleans, you're just three or so hours from Houston. And there's a ton of guys here who are probably looking for you.
