No one can ever accuse me of not having a distinct regional accent! I sound as though I stepped out of a Lynyrd Skynyrd song. It doesn't take long for folks to figure out that I proudly hail from Down South.

looks better out of costume :] Spidey shouldn't be too muscled, just athletic :) he actually looks kinda fat in that costume (2nd photo)!

and Jodi: Portuguese is easy to learn.. you write it like spanish and speak it like russian. well... sorta! :D

The Castellano speaking guys in here will atest to that :]

When I first got to basic training I had a guy call me a liar when I told him I was from New York because I didn't have a Brooklyn accent. Took me a while to convince him that the city was a small part of a very large state.

Upstate New York has a distinctive accent all its own -- the horrible nasal A.  I worked hard to get rid of that.

I have met more New Yorkers with a "New Yawk" accent down here in New
Orleans, than I have in actual New York!
