According to some it's because we are allowing gays to marry.

I find it difficult to listen to him, Gingrich and others talk about the sancity of marriage when they committed adultery.

Amen!

Yeah, I think Gingrich has a lot of good to say on topics like taxation, limited government, etc. But he should just bow out of any conversations about the sanctity of marriage. He doesn't have a leg to stand on in that debate.

Newt Gingrich lecturing others on what constitutes an appropriate marriage would be like Pete Rose saying, "That guy has a gambling problem."

And I really hope he doesn't run for public office again. While I agree with him on many issues, I do believe that personal character should be an important trait in our political leaders.

The media really are blowing this one up.

It has reached Europe! Oh my god. Duck and cover! I'm not leaving my apartment. I'll sit here with my comics. I won't read them though... promise...

Glad to hear Juan is okay.

Believe it or not, Bruce, agreed!  Gingrich is a freakin' genius -- if only he didn't shoot himself in the foot.

Yeah, I don't think even Gingrich's biggest critics would deny that the man has a brilliant mind. The guy has written more books (more than 20) than many people have read - in genres ranging from political philosophy to American history to speculative fiction.

IQ tests aren't his problem - it's the whole "personal morality" stuff that gets him in trouble.

Hey everyone.

This might seem off-topic, but I can't think of a better place to post it or
bunch of folks from this forum to hear it:

Jodi Moisan is a supremely awesome human being.

Love her lots.

Thanks! You can carry on again with whatever we were talking about...

I completely agree, Al. Did Jodi do something in particular to earn this praise, or are you just giving her a shout-out for being an all-around good person?

Just curious. Either way, it's deserved!
